Complex inner ear anatomy is an underrated topic in the cochlear implant field, often believed to be predominantly seen in developing countries. However, MED-EL in collaboration with several clinics worldwide, has observed significant variations in inner ear anatomy, posing challenges for surgeons in achieving optimal electrode placement. This webinar aims to share the extensive knowledge MED-EL has accumulated over the years on inner ear malformations, presenting various cases and recommended solutions.
